Harlan Balaban is one of the founders of Balaban, Levinson & Costigan, P.C. and is "of counsel" to the firm, having ceased the active practice of law. Mr. Balaban tried hundreds of cases during his career, including errors and omissions cases, insurance matters, criminal matters, personal injury claims, and banking and real estate disputes. Mr. Balaban received his LL.B. from the University of Denver in 1950. He was elected to the American Board of Trial Advoates in 1982. In 1985 he was elected to serve as president of the Colorado Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocate. Mr. Balaban holds the prestigious "AV" rating from Martindale-Hubbell.

Kenneth L. Levinson joined the firm, then known as Balaban & Lutz, in January, 1979. His practice emphasizes the defense of malpractice cases involving professionals in the insurance and real estate industries. Mr. Levinson has had significant experience representing businesses, insurance carriers, homeowners associations, banks and credit unions, as well as numerous individual clients in all types of matters, including domestic relations cases. He is currently a member of the forms committee of the Colorado Real Estate Commission. Mr. Levinson has participated in numerous mediations and arbitrations. He has been listed in Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Law and Who's Who in the West, and holds the prestigious "AV" rating from Martindale-Hubbell. He is also a mystery writer, creator of the popular Adam Larsen series. His most recent eBook, A Man of His Word, was released by Uncial Press in July, 2010. His other novels include An Unconventional Murder (2009); Final Argument (2007) and A Shadow In The Night (2007) [finalist, 2008 EPIC Mystery Contest]. These books are also available on Amazon.com. Cherami Ball Costigan joined the firm in May, 2005. She received her Juris Doctor in January, 2003 from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan. Ms. Ball Costigan was admitted to practice law in Colorado in May 2003. She is also licensed in the United States District Court for the District of Colorado. Prior to joining Balaban, Levinson & Costigan, P.C. her practice primarily involved Domestic Relations matters. Ms. Ball Costigan became a shareholder in October, 2010.

Bernadette Jane Wasilik joined the firm in July 2006. She received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver College of Law and was admitted to practice law in Colorado in 2004. Prior to joining Balaban, Levinson & Costigan, P.C., Ms. Wasilik's practice involved workers' compensation matters.
