About Our Building. In November, 2004, after 26 years at Market Center in downtown Denver,we moved into our building at 1745 Lafayette Street. A portion of the property was originally purchased in 1936 by William Levinson and was the family home until 1962, at which time the property was sold and the home demolished. In 1975, a commercial building was erected and served for many years as a group home for the Volunteers of America.
